Documenting the Heart of Africa

I've got two things for you guys today! One: I'm really sorry, but the Happy Healthy Challenge is on hold for now. I'm sorry for not letting everyone sooner, but I've had some stuff come up. But go ahead and do it anyways, and let us all know how it goes! We could all use the motivation! (especially me these days, it seems. ;)

Two: WHO WANTS TO BE A SUPERHERO??? 

"Go on. Tell me again how I forgot to wash your boxers." 

Okay that's totally a lame question, cause Superheroes get to wear spandex and capes and look AWESOME doing it. And really, who doesn't jump on the bed with a sheet/cape once in awhile? I KNOW I DO.

So, here's an awesome way to do some good, like the superhero in spandex and kickass boots you are! My photographer friend Alyssa has launched a Kickstarter to help fund AIDS relief in Swaziland, which is a little country crammed between South Africa and Mozambique:

Roughly 25% of the population there has AIDS, many of them women and children. In Swaziland most people not only can't afford treatment, they can't even get small things like straws and latex gloves. Alyssa's project will help supply much needed kits to people in end-stage AIDS, which will give them some basic comforts as well as help protect their caregivers from infection. She still has about $2000 to go, and there's only seven days left. Please help!

It might be a Secret Lair. Maybe. I can't tell you cause then it wouldn't be a secret lair, OBVIOUSLY. What do you guys think? Deep in a remote jungle rain forest? Or in the middle of a vast ocean wasteland? Suggestions? Crap, I'm so bad at being a supervillain sometimes. Or is it superhero? I can never tell.
